ACECOOL-BIO, introduced by Taekwang Industrial—a textile and petrochemical affiliate of Taekwang Group—is South Korea’s first eco-friendly cooling fiber made with bio-based raw materials. It is a next-generation nylon yarn that delivers both high functionality and sustainability.

By overcoming the limitations of conventional synthetic fibers, the product features enhanced moisture absorption and breathability. It provides an instant cool touch upon skin contact for a comfortable summer wearing experience, making it suitable for various clothing categories, including high-sweat activewear, functional innerwear, and workwear.

To address the growing demand for cooling materials driven by global warming, Taekwang Industrial focused not only on high performance but also on strengthening eco-friendliness throughout the production process.

ACECOOL-BIO reduces carbon emissions generated during manufacturing by more than half compared to traditional nylon fiber. With its superior dyeability, it shortens the dyeing process time while achieving vivid colors, which is also expected to yield energy savings during post-processing.
