Eco-friendly cooling material ‘ACECOOL-BIO’ draws strong buyer interest

Taekwang Industrial and Daehan Synthetic Fiber are accelerating their expansion into global markets by showcasing next-generation functional and eco-friendly materials at the '2026 Seoul Premium Textile (SPT)' exhibition.

Taekwang Industrial and Daehan Synthetic Fiber announced that they participated in '2026 SPT,' held at COEX in Seoul from June 25 to 26, presenting eco-friendly textiles including cooling materials, super fibers, and high-performance industrial materials.

During the exhibition, the two companies unveiled a broad product portfolio ranging from fashion and activewear fabrics to outdoor and high-performance industrial materials. Domestic and international brands and buyers visited the booth throughout the event to discuss potential product applications and joint development directions, confirming high market interest in materials that combine functionality with sustainability.

Cooling materials targeted for summer demand garnered particular attention. Buyers actively requested samples on-site for ‘ACECOOL-BIO,’ an eco-friendly cooling material utilizing bio-based raw materials. Additionally, ‘SHELRON,’ which offers superior cooling performance and a comfortable fit, along with ‘NOVICH,’ an anti-see-through functional yarn, received praise for their distinctive capabilities.

Active discussions took place regarding high-strength and high-durability materials for the outdoor and running wear sectors. Centered around their high-tenacity yarn brand ‘ENDURON,’ the companies presented yarn solutions that deliver stable performance even under extreme environments, planning to expand their presence in the high-performance activewear and industrial materials markets.

In the field of high-performance industrial materials, they proposed new projects utilizing the para-aramid fiber ‘ACEPARA’ and Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) material ‘ACEPAR,’ opening up possibilities for expanded collaboration with client companies. Because both materials achieve high strength and lightweight properties simultaneously, they are expected to be used across diverse sectors—including industrial components as well as high-end fashion and outdoor products.
